Recent past has shown rainbow colors in banking sector. This sector alone helped the index to gain heavy. How ever it is unlikely to happen that this sector will out perform the market any more. Personally I do not hold any long positions for short term in this sector. Increasing inflation and stabilizing economy will definitely encourage the policy makers to rethink on low interest rate regime. My personal view is that if not tomorrow; but quite soon we shall have increased interest rate that will directly affect the banking sector.
